I noted to Shannon that I've only met maybe 2 or 3 British people in my entire life, but I feel like I know more from movies and TV and music. Why am I having these thoughts? What's this preoccupation with the British? Is it a passing fad? Or will I wonder around in my English soccer jersey drinking pints of bitter and betting on football? Will I go all Madonna and hone some sort of outrageous British accent?
