Hold Steady News
Pitchfork just reported that The Hold Steady signed to Vagrant Records (article), home of bands that make me vomit like Dashboard Confessional and Alkaline Trio. What does this mean? Probably means I'll be able to find their next album in more record stores, which is cool. Anyways, congrats to the Hold Steady. If this sends a little more moola your way, enjoy it!

I understand your dilemma. Dashboard Confessional and Alkaline Trio (esp. Alk. 3) tickle the gag-o-flex like nothin' else. I'm not a fan, which is not to say nothin' against The Hold Steady. Hopefully it'll expand their horizons in a way most beneficial.
